Some adventures since the New Year!.....

Well......it appears I'm not very good at resolutions!  I'm still determined to do my best though and try to update our blog every Friday!  Just before the break, I took some fun pics of some of our kids with or without their teeth!  This was reminiscent of our Christmas concert song.....thought these were super cute.  Enjoy!

One of the fun art projects we did looked a lot like Claire's beautiful Christmas dresses!

Since we've been back from the break, we've had some Flat Stanley adventures too!  Elliott's Flat Stanley was lucky enough to travel with his Nana to the Dominican Republic for a wedding!  He swam in the ocean and visited pyramids.  He also enjoyed an atv ride in South River!

Ben and Elliott have been on a very cool hockey adventure where they got to hang out with the team mascot!  How cool is that??!!
Dougie's most recent Flat Stanley adventures took Stanley and the family all the way out west to visit Uncle Jody over the holidays!  Dougie and Flat Stanley got to hang out with Koda….
…..and Dougie was excited to share his new electric guitar with Stanley too!
While out west, Dougie and Flat Stanley visited places like Banff and Lake Louise.  Spruce Meadows in Calgary was also on the itinerary AND Dougie and Stanley got to help Uncle Jody with the grooming too!

Sister Abbi remembers all about Flat Stanley projects!  She rocked them herself last year!  Uncle Jody is a "Flat Stanley pro!"

……...built for the 1988 Winter Olympics!

 ……...a beautiful family pic!

And we mustn't forget, back in the Fall, Dougie took Flat Stanley on a Beaver's camping adventure to Fort York!  Flat Stanley is a lucky guy, Dougie!
We truly enjoyed our time getting to know Mrs. Richards and we were sad to say good-bye.  Good things can come from these moments too though!  We enjoyed a big "Welcome back" to Mr. Perry this week!  He joined us for a graphing lesson!  Welcome back, Mr. Perry!

We've had a great January and I look forward to a fun February too!  Watch your child's mailbag for our February newsletter.  We're going to do some fun Groundhog Day activities next week and I'll update you on our upcoming Valentine's celebrations!  I DO believe we should have a movie/PJ Day sometime too, just to keep the fun rolling!  I'll keep you posted!  In the meantime, have a great weekend!

More Stella adventures and green pancakes too!

This certainly has been a tricky year.  But we're making the best of some tough situations!  We're learning a lot and we're maki...
